Classic White Kitchen
Kitchen Remodel With Window Corner
A crowded kitchen in a classic 1940’s home was remodeled to bring in more southern light and to leverage the views out to the garden. Painted cabinets, white stone counters and a built in bench seat form the backdrop for a bold black range and hood customized by the owner. The structural house corner was rebuilt and the electrical service main was moved, so the new windows could wrap that corner and focus toward the back yard. Oak flooring was continued from the original house and interior French doors were used, so that nearby rooms would flow together with the kitchen. An adjacent butler’s pantry was remodeled to match.
