Colorado Additions

Near Denver, CO an aging home in the gracious Cherry Hills Village suburb was remodeled to combine modern amenities and traditional grace. A family room addition was added to one end of the house and a new brick carriage house with ADU living quarters was added at the other end. Everything in between was redesigned and rebuilt to unify the project and create an entirely new home.

From the owners:  “Kurt didn’t start with redesigning a house. He started by developing a deep understanding of how we lived and what was important to us, including the outdoor ‘rooms’. He is passionate about ensuring that the entire experience of living in our home goes beyond just the building itself. Remodeling a home can be stressful, but Kurt is thankfully not just an architect – we think of him as an “architecture therapist”
